If I’m being completely honest~ as the year comes to an end I begin to lose my mojo… from Memorial Day to Labor Day and then again from early November to Christmas Eve~ it can sometimes feel like my head is spinning. Most of the time though~ it’s in the best of ways….

Then December 26th comes and my body and mind take a rest~ a reboot and reset of sorts. It feels like I want to live December 26th for months…. Until about December 28 when I’m like ~”ok~ I’m ready to get to it!” This is when I start designing spaces in my mind and brainstorming how to revamp the business… how to move into “newness” while keeping the same vibe that Kate & Company has been since 1995.

And just as I’m starting to burst with energy, ideas, and enough cleaning of my own home (lol) we dash off to Market and the real fun begins… talk about getting your creative juices flowing! This year I’m hoping to launch a business within the business and I set out to source special finds and I believe I have :) We also look to stay fresh and bring in items for everyone at every price point. So~ 2023~ I name you the year of the coastal modern farmhouse with the right splash of sophisticated & bohemian & I’m so ready to create vignettes for you to come and #shopkateco xoxo~ Kacey
